Austin Daye. Say it again – Austin Daye and remember it this time. The 6’11 second-year player, out of Gonzaga is about to blow up. After averaging 16 points, 6 rebounds, one block and over two 3-pointers per game in the pre-season, Daye has earned a spot in the starting five for the Pistons. All you fantasy hoopsters out there, keep an eye on him too – this guy could be the sleeper of the year.

With big men in the NBA you either get the freaky athletic version or the long rage shooter version – rarely do you get both, but that’s what you have in Daye. This kid can stroke the jumper from behind the arc on one play and throw it down on the next time down the court…Just like he did on Jamario Moon and LeBron James last season.
