After four long seasons, Jazz fans are finally getting an opportunity to see Paul Millsap get a nod in the starting five this season. Well ladies and gentlemen, it looks like it was well worth the wait. After the first three games, Millsap, who has been dubbed “The Paper Boy” by some Jazz fans, is averaging 21.3 points, 12.3 rebounds, 3 assists, 1 steal and 1 block per game. Their in-conference rival, the Thunder, ended up hosting the coming out party of Paul Millsap when he went off for 30 points, 16 rebounds, 6 assists and 1 steal. Carlos Boozer who?
After averaging 12 points and 7 rebounds last season, Paul Millsap looks to be one of the favorites to win the Most Improved Player of the Year award.
Check out the video highlighting his finer moments from the the 2009-10 season. My personal favorite highlight comes about 2:31 into the video – a monster dunk against the Nuggets. From that point on, “memoismoney” (creator of the video) shows his distaste for the Lakers by featuring Millsap torching the Lake Show over and over again.
