You’ve Been Owned: The Kobe Bryant Compilation

bryant dunks over ming Youve Been Owned: The Kobe Bryant Compilation

In honor of Kobe Bryant’s 17th triple double last night, I decided to put together a compilation of his most punishing, You’ve Been Owned moments ever. Not much commentary needed here – Kobe’s dunks speak for themselves…Sit back, relax and enjoy the ride.

1. Windmill on Kevin Garnett

Marv Albert, who was calling the came, also performed exceptionally when he dropped, the now famous line, “Kobe Bryant just sucked the gravity out of the Target Center!”

2. Teabag on Steve Nash

The sequence of events leading up to the dunk were impressive in their own right. Everyone knew that when Lamar Odom went to the ground for the loose ball and shoveled it to a slashing Kobe Bryant that something special was going to happen. Well, everyone except for Steve Nash, who decided to attempt to take a charge and get right in the way of Kobe Bryant, who sucked any and all dignity out of Steve Nash.

3. Welcome to the NBA Dwight

You wonder if Dwight started re-thinking his decision to come to the Association straight out of high school.

4. Before Ben Wallace was Ben Wallace

This one could have been higher up on the list, but since it was a preseason game, there wasn’t much on the line here. It is so impressive to watch Kobe rise up right past the free throw line, collide with Ben Wallace and throw it down….HARD!

5. Kobe Slays the Giant

I’m not sure why it’s impressive when guys like Yao and Shawn Bradley get the hammer thrown down on them, but it is.

Are we missing one? Place your favorite dunk in the comments section and let us know what we missed.
