This, in my opinion, needs to be the title of Kobe’s autobiography that will be written the year after he retires and will be co-written with Bill Plaschke, who still have that horrific goatee. In the book, Kobe and Plaschke and will detail the 81 defining moments in the career of the Mamba, including, but not limited to: being drafted by the New Orleans Hornets and then being immediately traded to the Los Angeles Lakers for Vlade Divac, winning seven championships (yes – that’s a prediction), dunking on Dwight Howard, eliminating Kevin Garnett from the Playoffs year after year after year, the scandal in Colorado and the subsequent divorce, his relationship with Shaq, and the list goes on and on. While we wait another five years for this book, let’s enjoy the 81 points he dropped in a single game. If he writes like he plays, then this will be the greatest book ever written.
